Campus Inspection

University Campus, Tura, Balalgre
The Honourable Minister for Education, Shri Rakkam A. Sangma, visited the Balalgre campus of Captain Williamson Sangma State University on 2nd May 2025 to inspect ongoing infrastructure development. He was accompanied by local MLA Shri Subir Marak and Adviser to the Government, Shri H. M. Shangpliang, along with officials from the Education Department and representatives from key line departments.
The inspection included a review of work related to water supply, power, internal roads, telecommunications, boundary infrastructure, land records, and campus facilities. Discussions were also held on coordination mechanisms and the development of a long-term Master Plan for the university.
