Bio:
Dr. Aksana Neah Ch. Marak received a Master's degree and Ph. D in Environmental Science from the Department of Environmental Studies, NEHU, Shillong. She has worked in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental sustainability.
With experience in teaching undergraduate students, to expand her horizon in research, she has supervised the final semester students in the varied areas of environmental studies pertaining to local and regional issues.
Her research interests are natural resource management and sustainability, and biodiversity conservation. She has also completed a training course in solid waste management from IIT-G.
