Environmental Geography -Understanding of human-environment interactions and environmental impact assessments. -Focus on climate change, resource management, and conservation.
Agricultural Geography -Insight into spatial patterns of agriculture and food systems. -Analysis of rural land use, crop distribution, and agricultural sustainability.
Field Work Practical -Competent in data collection, field surveys, and ground-truthing. -Experienced in integrating field observations with GIS analysis.

Bio:
I am dedicated academic and researcher, on the verge of Completion of my Ph.D course. I have published four research papers already and many more are on the verge of being published. I hold a Bachelor's and master's degree in Geography from North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), securing the 5th position in the university. With over 13 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Geography, I have contributed significantly to higher education in Meghalaya. I served for five years at Mawsynram Border Area College and for nine years at Tura Government College, mentoring students and engaging in academic development.
In addition to my teaching career, I have also worked as a GIS Scientist with the Environment and Forest Department of Meghalaya. During this two-year tenure, I conducted extensive fieldwork involving travel, surveying, and mapping of forested regions, demonstrating strong expertise in geospatial analysis and environmental studies.
