How to Apply for Admission

Follow these steps to complete your application successfully.

Register

  • Visit the official CWSSU website at cwssu.ac.in and open the Admission Portal.
  • Register using your mobile number.
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number for verification.
  • Enter the OTP to complete the registration process.
  • *Note: Your registered mobile number will serve as your unique login ID throughout the admission process.

Fill the Application Form

  • Log in to the Admission Portal.
  • Open the Application Form section.
  • Enter the required personal information, including:
    i. Name
    ii. Gender
    iii. Date of Birth
    iv. Community
    v. Religion
    vi. Marital Status
    vii. Email Address (OTP verification required)
    viii. Permanent and Correspondence Address
    ix. Parent/Guardian Details
  • Click Save and Next after completing the section.

Enter Academic Details

  1. Complete the Educational Qualification section by entering details of:
    i. Class X
    ii. Class XII
    iii. Bachelor's Degree
  2. Provide: i. Board / University
    ii. Stream / Major
    iii. Year of Passing
    iv. Marks Obtained
    v. Total Marks
    vi. Result Status (Passed / Awaiting)
  3. Additional qualifications may be entered using the “Add Qualification option.
  4. Click Save and Next to continue.

Upload Documents

Upload the required documents in the prescribed format (JPG, PNG, PDF or WEBP) with a maximum file size of 350 KB per document.

Upload Documents
  • i. Passport-size Photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm)
  • ii. Signature
  • iii. ST/SC Certificate (if applicable)
  • iv. Other relevant certificates (if applicable)
  • Click Save and Next.
Upload Educational Documents

Upload the relevant academic documents, including:

  • Class X Marksheet/Certificate
  • Class XII Marksheet/Certificate
  • Bachelor's Degree Marksheet/Certificate (where applicable)
  • Other educational documents, if required

After uploading all documents successfully, click Save and Next.

Review and Select Programme Preference

  1. Review all the information entered on the Preview page.
  2. Select your preferredInstitution.
  3. Choose up to two programmes in order of preference.
  4. Click Save and Next.
  5. You will then be taken to the Declaration page.

  6. Read the declaration carefully.
  7. Tick the "I Agree" checkbox.
  8. Submit your application.

Upon successful submission, an Application ID will be generated. Applicants are advised to save this Application ID for all future correspondence.

Pay the Application Fee

Once the online payment gateway is activated, applicants will receive an SMS and email notification.

Log in to the Admission Portal and complete the payment using any of the following methods:

  1. UPI
  2. Debit Card
  3. Credit Card
  4. Net Banking

Note: Applicants may submit their application even if the payment gateway is not yet active. The application fee may be paid later once the payment facility becomes available.

Confirmation

After successful submission of the application and payment of the application fee:

  1. Verify your application details through the Applicant Dashboard.
  2. Download and save your completed Application Form.
  3. Download and save the Payment Receipt for future reference.

A confirmation message will also be sent to your registered mobile number and email address.

Important Instructions

  1. Ensure that all information provided in the application form is accurate and complete.
  2. Keep scanned copies of all required documents ready before beginning the application.
  3. Use a valid mobile number and email address, as all admission-related communications will be sent through these registered contact details.
  4. Retain your Application ID until the admission process is completed.

Anti-Ragging Declaration

In accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the University campus, hostels, and all University-related activities.

All applicants admitted to the University shall be required to submit the prescribed online Anti-Ragging Undertaking through the National Anti-Ragging Portal, as notified by the University, before completing the admission process. Failure to submit the undertaking may result in the withholding of admission formalities.

Applicants are advised to carefully follow the instructions issued by the University regarding the Anti-Ragging Undertaking after admission.
