Bio:
A chemistry educator and researcher with a strong background in computational chemistry, organic transformations, and reaction kinetics. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at Nongstoin College since 2019, with consistent academic outcomes including a 100% pass rate across five undergraduate cohorts and active contributions to institutional activities such as NAAC accreditation and syllabus development under the NEP framework. Holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Madras and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from NEHU. Successfully qualified the CSIR-UGC NET (December 2017) with an All India Rank of 162 and cleared IIT-JAM in 2016. Research contributions include publications in The Journal of Physical Chemistry A and Advances in Traditional Medicine, encompassing both theoretical and applied investigations in gas-phase chemistry and medicinal formulations. Also involved in mentoring students for national-level entrance examinations.
