
The Department of Social Work at Captain Williamson Sangma State University, Meghalaya, is a newly established academic unit set to begin its first academic session in August 2025. The department offers a Postgraduate (PG) Programme in Social Work, with specialisations in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and Community Development.
Rooted in the ethos of social justice, human dignity, and community empowerment, the department is committed to preparing skilled and compassionate social work professionals equipped to meet the complex social challenges of today's world.
